Combat Burns In Ghana – Beyond Burns International Seeks Partnership with the Ghana National Fire Service

On October 17th, a delegation from Beyond Burns International had the honor of visiting the Director of Safety at the Ghana National Fire Service. The purpose of this courtesy call was to introduce the NGO and its vital initiatives aimed at raising awareness ab

out burn prevention and to explore a potential partnership with the Fire Service.

During the meeting, the Beyond Burns International team shared insights into their work and discussed how a collaboration could enhance efforts to reduce the incidence of burns in Ghana. The Director expressed her appreciation for the visit and the important mission of

the NGO, highlighting her support for this noble initiative. She committed to assisting in expanding Beyond Burns International’s advocacy efforts beyond the Greater Accra Region.

Accompanying the Director were the Director of Welfare and the Assistant Director of Safety, both contributed to a productive discussion on the impact of burn prevention strategies.

The team expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the warm reception and encouragement received during the meeting. They are optimistic that this partnership will foster meaningful progress in advocating for burn prevention and supporting burn survivors across other regions.
