ONE-YEAR-OLD NII ODE RECEIVES FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FROM BEYOND BURNS INTERNATIONAL

In August, one-year-old Nii Ode suffered severe hot water burns at home. His father, recovering from a motor accident, was receiving care when the accident occurred. Nii’s mother was heating water to clean her husband’s wounds, and while fetching a few items from the room, Nii was accidentally burned on his face, hands, chest, stomach, legs, and feet.

Nii received treatment at Ridge Regional Hospital and was discharged last week, though his parents were unable to cover the medical bills. On September 18, 2024, Beyond Burns International made a cash donation at the hospital to assist with Nii’s medical expenses.
