On February 12th, 2025, ChemSolv Limited, a leading innovator in chemical supply and distribution throughout Africa, made a significant cash donation of GHC 10,000 to Beyond Burns International to assist veteran actor Mawuli Semevo. Mawuli had been severely injured in a tragic fire accident at his SSNIT Flat apartment in Adenta, Accra.

Grace Ohene-Agyei, ChemSolv’s External Affairs Lead, shared that the company had learned about the devastating incident through a public announcement by Judith Cato Addison, Executive Director of Beyond Burns International. Moved by the situation, ChemSolv decided to contribute to the actor’s medical treatment as part of their corporate social responsibility efforts.
During the meeting, Beyond Burns International also provided an overview of their programs and accomplishments. Both organizations discussed opportunities for future collaborations, recognizing the positive impact they could create together.
