Easter Fundraising Event: A Resounding Success in Support of Burn Survivors

Beyond Burns International with the kind support of A&C Mall organized a 3-day Easter fundraising event from the 18th to the 20th of April, 2025. This event brought our mission to life: raising awareness on the prevention of burns and advocating for the support and rehabilitation of burn survivors in Ghana.
This impactful event which was held at the vibrant A&C Mall, one of Ghana’s leading shopping destinations, welcomed hundreds of visitors from all walks of life. We extend our deepest gratitude to the management of A&C Development for generously offering us their space, allowing us to create an inviting and engaging environment to connect with the public on a cause that too often goes unnoticed.

Over the course of the event, attendees had the opportunity to learn more about the realities faced by burn survivors and the critical work we do to support them—from emergency care and surgical treatment to emotional healing and reintegration. It was inspiring to see so many people step forward to learn, engage, and contribute.
Adding to the excitement and reach of the event were appearances by well-known Ghanaian personalities Lydia Forson, Kokui Selormey, and Godwin Namboh, whose presence brought additional visibility, encouragement, and joy to both attendees and burn survivors present. We are truly grateful for their time, their voices, and their support.

Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of everyone who participated, we were able to raise significant funds that will go directly towards the surgical treatment of burn survivors—a vital step in their healing journey.
We are deeply moved by the support we received. It reaffirms our belief that together, we can build a safer, more compassionate Ghana—one where burns are prevented, and survivors are never left behind.
