Beyond Burns Educates CBG Staff on Home Burn Prevention and Safety

On October 24th, 2024, Beyond Burns International had the opportunity to educate the staff of the Consolidated Bank of Ghana about burn prevention in the home. This initiative aimed to raise awareness about burns, particularly as many parents now rely on caregivers due to their busy work schedules.

The Beyond Burns International team was joined by the Assistant Director of Safety from the Ghana National Fire Service, who provided valuable insights on preventing burns and managing emergency situations at home. He also highlighted additional safety measures the staff could implement in their households.

Three burn survivors, including the founder of Beyond Burns International, shared their personal stories, prompting many questions from the CBG staff. Madam Prisca Chrissie Akwada, the branch manager, praised Beyond Burns International for its efforts and urged all Ghanaians to take the issue of burns seriously to enhance their safety measures.
